    Description
    Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mid-Senior Level Data Engineer working a hybrid (70% remote) schedule on a 6 month contract with our client in the healthcare industry in their Bloomington, MN location.

    Salary: 95k/yr-105k/yr

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with an external vendor to retrieve and process large datasets
    • Design and implement data pipelines using Databricks, Azure, and Python programming languages
    • Develop back-end data engineering solutions during the cloud migration process
    • Work with Power BI to create data visualizations and reports, leveraging data assets built by the team
    • Utilize strong Python programming skills to drive project development

    Preferred Skills:

    • Strong experience with Python programming language
    • Experience with Azure Databricks.
    • SAS Programming background.
    • Strong data visualization skills using Power BI (or similar tools)
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Possesses a strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
    • Is outgoing, energetic, and personable, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Has a strong desire to learn and grow within the organization
    This role is required to analyze and provide guidance on optimizing cost savings when renegotiating Cook Biotech's IT Vendor agreements. I anticipate this being a one time 3-5 month engagement, but required ASAP as CBI IT contracts are coming up for renewal now. This role was approved in the Cocoon IT One Time Cost model.
