The Registered Nurse (RN)participates as primary nurse, associate nurse, a team member orteam leader in the planning and implementing of patient care. TheRegistered Nurse (RN) directs and assists in carrying out safeaseptic technique and procedures. The Registered Nurse (RN) offersleadership and direction to all support staff withindepartment.
The Emergency Department at CHRISTUSSpohn Hospital Beeville is committed to creating an atmosphere ofquality care and efficient service. We are a Level IV Adult TraumaCenter, with 11 treatment rooms and dedicated areas for trauma,cardiac, stroke, and pediatric patients. The Emergency Departmentis a clinical environment suited to those who prefer a fastturnover of patients, a relatively fast pace and, it seems, a neverending workload. Many of us have of course worked in other areasgaining various levels of knowledge and expertise and havetransferred to the ED where the term "Jack of All Trades " is acommon place reference to our skill set
