- Define functional, performance and low power requirements for bgn, ax, be, etc.) MAC features and algorithms.
- Design, develop architecture and test specifications, hardware/software partitioning, data flow, and message sequence diagrams.
- Develop cross layer system models using tools such as NS3 to validate the architecture.
- Conduct design reviews with cross teams and obtain buy-in for further implementation and testing.
- Perform post silicon validation and ensure the implementation meets the design targets.
- Expert knowledge in Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth standards.
- Expert knowledge in TCP/IP, LwIP implementation, integration with Wi-Fi MAC, performance tuning depending on application/customer requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in MAC algorithm implementation, contributions to product improvements, and field test results.
- Hands on experience in MAC simulation tools such as NS3.
- Experience in Matlab, Python, C/C++ is a must.
- Familiarity with PHY simulation is a plus.
- Working knowledge in Git.
- Excellent communication skills to communicate clearly and drive collaboration between PHY, Systems and Software teams.
