Job Summary:

This CLA 3 triages and processes advanced specimen independently. Works closely with all laboratory staff, medical staff, and external customers including advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution. Performs packing and shipping of laboratory specimens to be sent out to referring laboratories. .
Shift
VUMC, VLS, Diagnostic Core laboratories, Specimens, located at our TVC Campus in Nashville, Tennessee (TN), Fulltime, 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:
30pm CST, every 3rd weekends and holidays rotations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receives and triages advanced specimens.
• Prepares specimens and patient materials for shipping.
• Provides advanced clerical support and customer service.
