Graduated with highest honors at Texas A & M -University with a degree in Psychology. Completed my graduate studies in the MOZART EFFECT and was published in medical journals for my research on how music effects spatial intelligence ( our hand eye coordination). We used Tony Hawk Pro Skater game and implanted music options. See the article for more info. I've had a passion for working with youth and have worked in all facets of their care from driving a bus to being a direct care counselor and art teacher. My music career took me to the point of a major recording deal in Nashville and I was diagnosed with a rare  cancer the same week so I began painting when I quit touring. Since then I have been selected as a member of THE CLAY LADY CAMPUS AND COMMUNITY and I teach monthly co op art classes. I've been selected as a MASTERCLASS SONGWRITING INSTRUCTOR through Marriott International Brand and look forward to offering songwriting in classrooms and residential facilities as a way to heal through the stress of the pandemic. I believe art and music is an answer to many problems in our health and believe whole heartedly in the healing properties that doing weekly art and music can have on ones life.

I've toured musically and professionally for over 20 years and have worked as an art teacher in many capacities. I've recorded and released independently  3 full length albums and over 300 songs while living in Nashville. I've worked with professionals like Jerry Salley, Jim McBride, opened up for folks like Tyler Farr and heard my song on major country radio. I've played to an arena of over 30k and love helping folks craft their stories into songs. I also taught art classes, coached after school activities and developed art programming for a homeless shelter in Dallas. I began painting and sculpting with paint 4 years ago and I have two retail locations in Tennessee with THE PAINTED TREE NATIONAL BRAND where my art can be purchased. I've shown my art at the Shelby Art Council and my work can be seen in The Clay Lady Gallery in Nashville, Tn . I look forward to using the rounded work experience I have in all facets of art and music to helping you unlock your hidden creative spirit animal !
