READS Academy is a therapeutic day school program for ED/BD/LD students.

The appropriate candidates for this position will have experience with:
Working in a therapeutic milieu w/ social/emotional, neuro-developmental, and psychological disabilities grades 9-12+.Provision of individual/group counselingTrauma-informed behavioral and therapeutic approachesDevelopment and implementation of behavior support plansConsultation to classroom personnel teamClinical assessments and IEP development - data collection and analysisKnowledge of bullying prevention and social thinking curriculumCase management and communication with outside providers (DCF, DYS, DDS, MRC, and DMH)Communication and collaboration with sending school districts and community supportsStrong written and verbal communication skillsMSW or LMHC, DESE School Adjustment Counselor licensure required
