    The Role: Product Owner Lead

    To continue delivering industry leading technology, we seek an experienced Product Owner Lead (REMOTE). In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and representing the needs of the organization and stakeholders in the definition of requirements as part of the architecture, design, and implementation of software solutions for new products and major product enhancements, while leading, mentoring, and guiding a high-performing product team in a generative environment.

    The ideal candidate has a solid depth of knowledge in understanding business processes, identifying priority and business value, and communicating requirements as user stories in an Agile Scrum development team. Experience and knowledge of the insurance and/or medical management industry is a plus.

    Specifically, you will be responsible for the following:
    • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products
    • Synthesize user and stakeholder feedback into actional engineering user stories
    • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners while acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding throughout the organization
    • Craft product roadmaps according to overarching business and user goals
    • Provide structure and mentorship to the team of product owners with related metrics for measuring progress and performance
    • Own the prioritization of work items while weighing technical complexity against the derived value
    • Partner with technical stakeholders to plan and manage product releases
    • Collaborate with the architecture team to ensure that the technical architectural strategy aligns with the long-term business needs of the product suite
    What You Need To Qualify:
    • 7+ years experience of working with software development teams
    • 5+ years experience in product or project management
    • 4+ years experience in an Agile development environment
    • Hands-on knowledge of development management tools such as Azure DevOps (preferred), Figma, Jira, Trello, GitHub, ClickUp, ActiveCollab
    • Experience with multiple stages of the product development lifecycle - ideation, process modeling, discovery, delivery, testing, planning
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Familiarity with common technical concepts / ability to have semi-technical conversations
    • Organizational and leadership abilities, and a high degree of comfort navigating ambiguity
    • A degree in the business or technology field is a plus but not necessary with commensurate experience
    You'll Stand Out If You Have
    • UI/UX experience
    • Experience in the insurance or Medical Management industry
    • Product Owner / Manager certifications

    This is a remote work from home / virtual position with occasional need to travel for in-person meetings.
