Quincy Medical Group (QMG) has an exciting opportunity for a IT Computer Support Assistant to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 155 physicians and providers in West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. Responsibilities:The IT Computer Support Assistant performs a variety of technical tasks to monitor, test, and troubleshoot any hardware of software issues that may arise.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with possible flexibility of schedule. On call required every 4-5 weeks, including nights and weekends. Work location is Quincy, IL.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have educational or work related computer support experience. Excellent problem-solving and written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and healthcare staff. Able to work well in a fast paced, high demand environment.
Associates degree in Computer Science; or a related field plus one year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
