- Oversee the utility billing process, a key source of revenue for the City.
- Provide technical training on Finance Department functions, fostering a continuous learning environment within a small team that you lead.
- Prepare annual statements.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare complex analysis as needed for the Finance Director.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar business field
- 5 years of accounting or finance experience, with 2 years in supervisory role, and a proven track record of leading a team
- The ability to take initiative and independently manage tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel spreadsheet formulas
- Experience with accounting software, which is required.
- Certifications - CPA, CPFO, or CGFO.
