We are looking for a security officer to guard data centers for a client in Chicago Ridge, IL.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

Monitoring: The data center is your playing field, you are both the captain and the playmaker. With regular rounds, you check the building and keep an eye on all the different aspects on site - at all times

Alarm tracking: The installed security and alarm systems work for you: and when they go off? You react, evaluate the alarm and forward it if necessary.

Access control: Anyone entering or leaving the data center must first go through you. You carefully check existing access authorizations/registrations or create them for registered visitors - you also have the necessary computer and IT understanding.

Accompanying visitors: Not everyone knows their way around the data center like you do.

No problem, because you confidently guide technicians or external visitors to their destination:
ensuring that no one gets lost or feels helpless on "your" playing field.

On-site communication: Your calm and confident demeanor often makes you the first point of contact for the client, visitors, or colleagues. It's even better if you can express yourself in a respectful and professional manner and see communication as more than just a necessity. Maybe you even speak another language?
