On October 10th of that year, he drove Sweepstakes against Alexander Winton, a famous racer and builder.

    What you'll do Ford Performance is looking for an experienced, talented, and highly motivated HV Battery Design Engineer to join our Global Motorsports department, located in Allen Park, Michigan.

    The individual will be responsible for leading the development, optimization, and validation for high voltage traction battery packs to be used within Ford's Electrified Motorsports vehicles.

    Lead the design and development of Motorsports HV Traction Batteries, including:
    array design, enclosure design, cooling strategy, busbars, and BMS/EDS integration. Work with xEV Systems engineer to ensure proper battery pack sizing, compatibility, and vehicle integration. Work with CAD designers to develop 3D models and prints for battery components. Build, test, and evaluate battery arrays and packs.

    Interface with key racing partners and facilitate battery pack tech transfer between Ford Motorsports demonstrators and electrified series, such as Formula 1.

    You'll have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 2+ years of direct experience related to HV Battery development and/or analysis. Even better, you may have Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Knowledge of Ford HV Battery requirements and testing methods.
