- Create designs for t-shirts, hats, and leather goods that resonate with and celebrate Latino culture and Portland Style
- Develop visually compelling designs that reflect the rich heritage and traditions of Latino communities.
- Incorporate elements inspired by Orox's Oregon-Oaxaca roots to create a cohesive brand identity.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs align with the overall brand vision and messaging.
- Conduct studio photography sessions for product images, banners, and printing materials.
- Capture high-quality images that showcase Orox's handmade leather goods in a visually appealing manner.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute photo shoots based on product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Edit and retouch photographs to enhance their aesthetic appeal and ensure consistency with the brand's visual style.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and collateral, including digital and print assets.
- Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices to continuously improve the quality and impact of Orox's visual assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design concepts are effectively communicated and executed across various channels.
- Opportunities to help in leather goods making and event sales.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and culturally relevant design work, particularly in relation to Latino culture.
- Knowledge and appreciation of Latino culture, traditions, and aesthetics.
- Experience in photography and photo editing is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
