DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the Monthend closing procedure and reconciliation of the General Ledger
- Responsible for the monthly reporting packages of the company's financial performance versus budget
- Responsible for performing special projects and adhoc reports to improve process efficiency and performance Projects as assigned by Reporting Manager
- Analyze/manipulate key operational and accounting data in order to develop operational reports to various stakeholders, including variance analysis reports, profit/loss statements, monthly performance presentations, KPI reports, etc.
- Assist in longterm/budget planning on a yearly basis
- Assist in preparation of leadership and board presentations.
- Acquire deep knowledge and understanding of the company's business performance and display confidence in reporting to leadership.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize the P&L to align with our longterm strategy
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Ensure highquality reporting standards and data accuracy
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONAL/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- BBA Accounting or Finance required
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- 12 years in a FP&A or related role
- Basic understanding of the Accounting Principles and General Ledger Duties
SKILLS
- Strong Analytical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Hyperion Planning and Budgeting software (SmartView)
- Oracle software and PRISM/GL Wand a plus
