- Conducting periodic safety meetings
- Completing safety training by the due date
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical Aptitude / Experience specifically related to control valve repair and service.
- 5 + years' service experience in valve repair/service preferred. A combination of education and experience will be accepted.
- Demonstrates technical and working knowledge of valve/actuation service and repair.
- Strong information management skills, including personal computer skills.
- Strong organization skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate with a cross section of other employees, principals and customers.
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and other employees. Strong interpersonal skills; team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude.
- High ethical standards possessing the willingness and ability to create win-win situations for customers and the Company.
- Able to manage time and resources effectively. Routinely displays initiative.
- Is dependable, innovative and organized. Displays a professional demeanor and attitude.
- Must be able to wear moderate level of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction which may include but is not limited to: safety glasses; safety-toed footwear; hearing protection.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to walk and stand 8 hours per day.
- Occasional climbing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
- Hazards: Proximity to moving mechanical and mobile equipment.
