    Core Financial Outsourcing

    Accounting Manager

    Doylestown, PA

    The Opportunity:

    We are looking to fill an Accounting Manager in our Doylestown, PA office. This is an in-office opportunity at a unique firm that bridges the gap between traditional bookkeeping and business owners. We work strategically with small to medium size businesses in a variety of industries to ensure we deliver the highest quality of service for our clients either virtually or onsite. It also means exposure to an assortment of clients which creates many opportunities for learning and growing.

    Expectations of the Accounting Manager Role:

    • Managing the accounting staff responsible for G/L updates and maintenance, AP and AR management, month end reconciliations, etc.
    • Training new staff
    • Preparing month end adjusting journal entries
    • Monthly financial statement preparation and distribution
    • Financial statement review and analysis (budget vs actuals, prior year comparisons, trends, etc.)
    • Presenting clients with feedback and recommendations
    • Cash flow forecasting and budgeting
    • Audit assistance and other special projects as needed

    The Ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager Role:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
    • Management experience
    • CPA preferred but not required
    • Experience in QuickBooks Desktop and Online
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel
    • Someone who can manage, review, guide, and coach accounting and bookkeeping staff and clients
    • Ability to work with multiple clients/projects and manage deadlines simultaneously
