Skills and Qualifications for this position:

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience at a public accounting firm preferred
• Previous experience with Drake a plus
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel
• Ability to manage deadlines simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting not only with our staff but with your clients as well

Expectations of the Role: This role has a variety of responsibilities which include but are not limited to:

• Basic tax return data entry including inputting new data and making data changes
• Sending annual tax engagement letters and tax organizers
• Processing tax payments
• Overseeing the receipt and processing and tax documents
• Overseeing e-filings and confirming successful processing
• Updating and monitoring our work flow management software for tax work items
• Scanning tax documents and notices
• Maintaining client electronic filing system
