    Description

    PGW Auto Glass is seeking an organized, reliable, detail and service-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team In this position, you will monitor Distribution Center inventory as well as manage warehouse staff to ensure that products are stored, packed and shipped in an accurate, efficient manner. To excel in this position, you must be able to multi-task, communicate well with others, hold team members accountable and be very organized. The ideal candidate needs to be goal orientated, willing to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.

    Essential Job Duties:

    • Supervise and direct warehouse team, ensuring employee safety is a top priority.
    • Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads.
    • Conduct shift meetings and cross communicate between shifts.
    • Ensure staff follows all safety policies and procedures.Thoroughly investigate and report all safety near misses, accidents and violations in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with team members, peers and managers to solve work-related problems.
    • Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse facility to reflect cleanliness, efficiency and organization.
    • Coaches personnel in the safe work practices and requirements to ensure a safe and hazard-free workplace.
    • Analyzes or resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work issues or concerns.
    • Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
    • Establishes or adjust work procedures to meet deadlines.
    • Maintain timekeeping records for all warehouse staff.
    • Assist with the management of personnel which may include interviewing, hiring, performance evaluations, terminations, disciplinary action, etc.
    Education & Experience:

    High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent desired. At least one year of warehouse-related experience and 5 years of prior supervisory experience desired.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    • The ability to make decision, problem solve, prioritize assignments and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.
    • Take ownership of the business and ensure the highest standards of safety, productivity and customer service are exceeded every day.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
    • Excellent organization and efficient time-management skills.
    • Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision.
    • Should have good PC knowledge and skills, as well as basic math skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal.)
