    Job Summary

    We seek an energetic and forward-thinking accounting professional with high ethical standards who can relate to people at all levels of our organization. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented with 1-3 years of core accounting experience and thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented, and entrepreneurial environment.


    Essential Functions

    1. Preparing journal entries
    2. Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts
    3. Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing adjusting journal entries
    4. Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts
    5. Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts
    6. Assisting with initial internal control evaluations
    7. Posting monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals
    8. Assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits
    9. Assist with other projects as needed

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Effective analytical skills to sort, check, and verify accounting figures
    • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Careful attention to detail
    • Good communication skills
    • Familiarity with enterprise business systems
    • Strong Microsoft Office application knowledge (especially Excel)

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


    Work Environment and Physical Demands

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
    • In office environment

    Travel

    • This job requires no planned business travel.

    Education and Experience

    • 1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or administrative experience
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting
