- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including A/P, A/R and general ledger entries.
- Generating financial statements and reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conducting thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation.
- Assisting with internal, external audits and month-end
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and any industry-specific regulations.
- Performing regular reconciliations of bank accounts and intercompany accounts.

Ready to take your career to the next level? I'm collaborating with a thriving company in Addison that seeks a Staff Accountant to bolster their team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be supporting the Controller with the following duties as the need arises: Assisting with full-cycle Accounts Payable using QuickBooks for timely vendor payments, reviewing Accounts Receivable, providing weekly collection reports, and updating daily cash flow forecasts in Excel. Reconciling internal Inventory reports weekly, processing biweekly payroll, and preparing Inventory reports for Tax filing and support documentation. Handling Sales Tax and GST/HST documentation for CPA firms, managing Chart of Accounts for intercompany reconciliation, as well as providing Financial statements to stakeholders.
