    Job Description

    AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Discipline Lead to direct and manage a variety of large-scale water infrastructure projects throughout the region. You will also have the opportunity to identify and pursue new clients/projects with business development goals.

    Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

    • ​Providing technical support to water infrastructure projects including: design, analysis, inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities
    • Providing project management (client management, contract management, planning and execution, financial management, etc.)
    • Oversee the development of plans, specifications, and construction estimates.
    • Collaborate with teams performing geotechnical investigations and analysis for dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.
    • Supervise preparation of technical reports, memos, and engineering design and construction related documents.
    • Business development for new and existing clients.
    • Ensure the quality of project deliverables.
    • Mentoring and technical development of junior staff.
    • Performing Independent Technical Reviews.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 15+ years of relevant civil engineering experience
    • California Professional Engineer's (PE) license
    • Master's degree in Civil Engineering

    Additional Information

    Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The target salary range for this position is $145,000-220,000.
