    Job title: AP/AR Coordinator Reporting to: Accounting Manager

    Position Type: Non-exempt, Part-time

    Purpose of the position:

    We require this individual to be an accounting professional that is a team player with a positive can-do attitude. This individual must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to balance routine duties and complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with keen attention to detail. Candidates will possess excellent communication skills, be organized, and take initiative. Top candidates will have experience and demonstrate an understanding and commitment to delivering superior client service.

    Responsibilities and duties:

    • Entry of all credit card transactions and daily reconciliation of accounts for Key Bank and Amex cards.
    • Daily reconciliation of Amex and Key credit cards in Studio Designer.
    • Monitor activity in Suspense account and request PO's / receipts and other information needed to process credit card transactions.
    • Entry of all accounts payable invoices.
    • Produce AP payment reports and edit approvals to finalize.
    • Misc AP duties: Vendor inquiries / Other AP follow up / Vendor AP Statements.
    • Assist with Time Billing as needed.
    • Organization of physical and digital accounting files.
    • Balance sheet account reconciliations (nothing bank related).
    • Project work.
    • Position is slated for Monday through Thursday 9-3. Max of 25 hours/week.

    Work experience and skills

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
    • At least two years' experience in accounting or a related field.
    • Strong customer service and client facing skills.
    • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
    • Strong understanding of US tax regulations.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to work in a seated environment for up to 8 hours a day.
    • Ability to work on a computer for up to 8 hours a day.
    • Ability to use the phone for extended period of time.
