Psychiatry Medical DirectorContribute to design and evaluation of an integrated Behavioral Health Dept., which is established upon principles of respectful client care, quality assurance, standards of practice, and positive treatment outcomes.
Reviews and revises clinical policies to ensure compliance and accountability to internal and external authorities. Provide input to designing and implementing Performance Improvement plans, maintains quality of care and client satisfaction ratings. Perform evaluations, crisis intervention, individual, group, family therapy and/or medication management as needed. Evaluates data relating to the bio-psychosocial consequences of physical and emotional illness, disability and/or substance abuse as required. Candidate must be licensed in State of Connecticut, and be Board certified in psychiatry. Experience in adult mental health and substance abuse. Experience with multiple levels of care preferred. Supervisory/Administrative experience.
