Hospital employed Multi ' Specialty Group Practice is seeking a Full-time BE/BC Psychiatrist to join its collaborative team of healthcare professionals.

You will enjoy working with a team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists and mental health clinicians. The psychiatrist will provide quality healthcare services to the adult patient population in the consult and crisis services programs.

The Psychiatrist conducts initial diagnostic assessments. Collaborates with the patient (and family as applicable) to develop a treatment plan to address identified goals in psychotherapy. Administers, scores and interprets psychological tests, as well as writes comprehensive reports of test results and provides feedback. Provides health and behavior assessments and interventions to patients with health conditions. Timely and complete documentation and billing for services provided. Exhibits flexibility, effective communication skills and an ability to thrive in multidisciplinary environment. Supervises and trains entry-level clinical psychologists, and doctoral level interns/fellows.

Psychiatrist will be employed by the hospital, which is affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine, The Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, and is accredited by The Joint Commission.
