Insurance companies are seeking to reduce their reliance on fragile, inefficient legacy skillsets and outdated infrastructure. Using Core Modernization solutions on AWS, insurers combine modern infrastructure, architecture, and organizational patterns in the cloud. As a result, insurance companies work toward operational excellence by maximizing resiliency, engineering efficiency, and business agility.


As the FSI Insurance Industry PDS for Americas you will be part of the Americas FSI Industry Team, and owning & managing the Insurance Partner business for Americas.

Additional responsibilities include Insurance Industry partner pipeline management, contributing to the Insurance partner ecosystem strategy, managing strategic relationships with influential Technology (ISV), Consulting (G/SI), and driving CXO-level relationships with Insurance' customers, and partners.


You will possess the deep Insurance industry background and/or consulting experience that enables you to engage at the CXO level with these life sciences customers and partners.

You will demonstrate credibility as an Insurance expert and interact with partners, enterprise customers and sales/field reps. The position also requires a strong technical acumen, along with working knowledge of the Insurance consulting services landscape.

You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and partner engagement to help build and convey compelling value propositions for AWS customers through AWS Partners.

You should also have a proven track record of influencing innovation through partners with prior solution and program successes.

6+ years industry work experience in a Line of Business (LoB) leadership role with a large FSI Insurance company is strongly preferred.

Additional experience consulting or business development specifically with Insurance companies is preferred.

Key job responsibilities

Be part of the Americas FSI Industry Team to drive the overall global AWS Insurance partner strategy to our internal and external stakeholders including the AWS sales teams, partner sales, as well as media coverage and industry events.


Executing the Global Insurance Partner strategic plan for the Americas which includes aligning with partner development managers and account managers who manage our top AWS technology and consulting companies.

Build C-level and Line of Business (LoB) relationships with our top Insurance customers, and partners.

Execute go-to-market and routes-to-market plans that have clear and measurable ROI.

Represent the AWS Insurance partner strategy internally and externally including presenting at Executive Briefings and Conferences.

Prioritize AWS investment in partners who focus on Insurance, including leading startups, consulting companies, and established ISV/SaaS technology vendors.
