A client in the field of mechanical engineering has tasked us with finding a talented SPS superhero for permanent employment, who can use their powers in the world of machine control. Here is the job description you are referring to:

Responsibilities:

  • Development, programming, and implementation of SPS software solutions for various applications and industries
  • Analysis of customer requirements and creation of technical specifications
  • Commissioning and testing of control and automation systems
  • Troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing SPS systems
  • Close collaboration with other departments and external partners

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of SPS system programming (TIA Portal, Ladder, etc.)
  • Experience with common communication protocols (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Modbus, etc.)
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Teamwork, communication skills, and independent work ethic
