    Description:

    This person must be able to perform dosage calculations;

    Have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of hospital personnel;

    Perform basic office environment tasks;

    Have the aptitude to maintain proficiency in all Pharmacy computer systems, automated dispensing cabinet software and systems, and all technical equipment, Required to perform duties; and possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the Internet. High volume retail pharmacy

    Customer Service / Communication skills

    Ability to walk around hospital for extended time

    Must Haves:

    2+ years retail pharmacy technician experience

    High volume transactions a day

    National Certification (CPhT OR PCTB) - can obtain within 3 months of working but must have exam scheduled before starting

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    This person must be able to perform dosage calculations; have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of hospital personnel

    Perform basic office environment tasks; have the aptitude to maintain proficiency in all Pharmacy computer systems, automated dispensing cabinet software and systems, and all technical equipment required to perform duties

    Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the Internet.

    Additionally, this person is expected to satisfactorily pass required hospital and government validation examinations.
