    Strategic Sourcing Manager-Fortune 500 Banking Client

    Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN

    W2, Full Benefits

    Job Description:

    Our banking client has a growing, dynamic procurement team supporting their payments organization and they are seeking people to establish and grow relationships with the business and vendors. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting senior leaders, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and proactively mitigating risks. Opportunity to use your skills and experience to nurture relationships and develop strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders on a new team.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
    • Eight to ten years of experience in procurement contract activities
    • Knowledge of sourcing professional services, IT, finance, and staffing

    Preferred Skills/Experience:

    • Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, and contract negotiation and administration
    • Knowledge of Procurement leading practices
    • Strong relationship management and business development abilities
    • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated project management skills
    • Well-developed management and leadership skills
    • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all levels across the company

    The hourly pay range for this position is $55 to $60/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
