Senior C++ Software Engineer - Hardware Integration

We are currently working with an exciting robotics company based in Munich, who is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join their Hardware Integration team in Saltillo.

In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects related to hardware integration between the main software product and in-house hardware products, as well as third-party hardware devices.

Key responsibilities as a Senior C++ Software Engineer:

  • Design, develop, and test software layers for hardware abstraction and integration between the main software product and various types of hardware devices (such as robots, PLCs, AGVs, cameras, sensors, and industrial standards and protocols).
  • Set up physical testbeds for hardware devices to enable automated HIL/QA testing.
  • Contribute to conceptual, architectural, and software design for large-scale automation solutions (over 500 robotic agents).
  • Work with a growing codebase written in modern C++17.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with C++ in a product-oriented and agile development environment.
  • Experience designing and developing software in modern C++14/17/20 on Unix and Windows.
  • Experience testing software using static code analysis,
