    Job Description

    The Financial Management team acts as a communication point to leaders across the Operations division as it relates to the annual budget and monthly forecast. U.S. Bank is seeking two financial analysts to join their teams.

    Provides financial analyses related to budgets, forecasting, allocation of expenses, ad hoc analysis for business case development and custom financial analyses, peer group analysis and internal consulting for all levels of management. Develops and maintains spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analysis. Prepares a variety of management presentations. Researches and resolves problems and errors in data from financial reporting systems.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
    • Typically three or more years of related experience
    Preferred Skills/Experience
    • Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. particularly in handling large datasets
    • Experience using data analytics tools such as Tableau, SmartSheet, or Power BI are preferred
    • Experience communicating and/or presenting to senior leadership.
    • Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
    • Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills
    • Thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
    • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
    • Strong technical skills related to data mining and visualization tools
    • Master's degree preferred

    This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $83, $98, $108,460.00
