- Look up parts for counter and shop, make a parts ticket, create PO's and apply/take payments.
- Receive stock orders and place parts on shelves.
- Operate a forklift to load/unload trucks.
- Make pickups and deliveries in a company vehicle.
- Assemble parts for monthly factory parts returns and ship out.
- Manage warranty claim return part shelves.
- Empty garbage cans and steel bins.
- Perform, maintain, and post required inspections to stay current with safety obligations.
- Check equipment in/out as it moves through the yard and shop.
- Open service work orders.
- Communicate with customers using the Modern system.
- Clear sidewalks of snow and ice and apply salt.
- Clean and organize the parts, service, yard areas.
- Professionally answer phone calls to process parts orders or transfer to correct department as needed.
- Assist parts and service managers as needed.
- Move equipment as needed.
- Assist service technicians as needed.
- Assist in building maintenance projects (light bulbs, fence issues, re-paint/re-stripe safety lines, drag gravel lot.
- Periodically search yard for equipment out of place or not tagged correctly.
- Load/unload equipment off of vendor trucks and get paperwork to proper department.
- Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open books meetings, huddles, department meetings, and other related efforts.
- HS diploma or equivalency required.
- 0-1 year of related experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills including use of Microsoft Office, CDK, and internet functions is preferred.
- The ability to stand for long periods of time is required.
- The ability to operate a fork-lift in a safe, effective manner in accordance to safety policy is required.
- The ability to effectively lift various objects weighing up to 50 pounds is required (infrequent).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills is required.

Job Summary
The Parts and Service Associate provides support to the parts and service departments. The ideal candidate will be able to complete administrative tasks on a computer and perform manual labor in order to assist each department in taking care of the customer. We are looking for someone to work 30 hours a week during the summer and 15-20 hours in the fall/winter/spring. Days of the week and hours of working are flexible.
