    Description

    Senior Accountant Job Description G pac, a company with 30 years of recruitment experience, is partnered with a well-established and reputable CPA Firm.

    We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team.

    As a Senior Accountant , you will have the opportunity to work with a strong and collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about the Public Accounting industry .


    Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
    Participate in Internal and External Audits on Occasion
    Prepare Financial Statements
    Understand detailed Accounting and Bookkeeping concepts
    Perform Cost Accounting, related Tax and Accounting research, & Data Entry into Accounting systems
    Understand & enjoy Accounting, Tax, & Audit
    Perform detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
    Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and processes
    Research and interpret complex accounting regulations and ensure compliance
    Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information
    Mentor and train junior accounting staff members and provide feedback on their work
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in Public Accounting (Required)
    BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
    Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Regulations
    Proficiency in Accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks
