- Manage day-to-day operations of the biomedical division, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency
- Supervise a team of biomedical engineers and technicians, offering guidance, training, and support as necessary
- Develop and execute operational procedures and protocols to guarantee compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage projects such as research, product manufacturing, and quality assurance
- Oversee equipment procurement, maintenance, and calibration to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Monitor inventory levels and supply chain logistics to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory
- Analyze operational data and metrics to pinpoint areas for enhancement and implement strategic initiatives for increased efficiency and productivity
- Stay informed about biomedical technology advancements and industry trends, incorporating relevant innovations into operational strategies
- Act as a liaison between the biomedical division and other departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in biomedical operations management
- Solid understanding of biomedical equipment, systems, and technologies
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the industry, such as FDA regulations and ISO standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
