- Communicate customer and company expectations to drivers for each freight assignment.
- Motivate drivers to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) like utilization, service, safety, retention, and optimization.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to drivers.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and repair to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to optimize routes, schedules, and vehicle usage.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including safety standards, environmental regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and able to interact effectively at all levels.
- Proven track record of making rational decisions in routine and emergency situations.
- Strong leadership skills, decision-making abilities, and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail preferred.
- Ability to handle high volumes of communication effectively.
- Experience in Transportation/Logistics.
- Experience in Water hauling/AC trucks preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and industry best practices.
- Current or former Class A CDL holder preferred.
