    Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a secondary location in Mojave, California, Astrobotic Technology is on a mission to expand their Space Robotics department.


    Job Title: Director of Business Development - Space Robotics


    Job Responsibilities

    • Formulate product and service offerings for Space Robotics technologies
    • Identify, pursue, educate, and secure new customers
    • Manage the budget for Space Robotics capture efforts
    • Create opportunities with government and commercial clients
    • Develop sales materials for Space Robotics
    • Execute strategies for government solicitations
    • Establish pricing models for responses
    • Contribute to proposal development with win strategies
    • Manage proposal submissions for Space Robotics
    • Stay informed about customer needs and industry trends
    • Support marketing and branding activities
    • Travel to engage with potential customers and partners
    • Assist in customer visits to Astrobotic facilities
    • Contribute to CRM tracking
    • Other duties supporting company growth

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • BA/BS with 4+ years experience in the space industry
    • Familiarity with business development processes
    • Knowledge of government and commercial satellite sectors
    • Proven track record in sales within the space industry
    • Ability to build strong relationships with teams and customers
    • Experience in a business environment
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
    • Skilled in creating marketing collateral
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Ability to identify opportunities and prioritize sales efforts

    Desired Skills & Qualifications

    • Background in engineering or technical fields

    Salary Range:

    $85,000 - $140,000

    *Final salary offered will depend on performance, experience, and business objectives.

    Astrobotic offers competitive total rewards beyond base salary.
