Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Korean speaking Activity Aide to join our Korean Day Health Program.
As an Activity Aide, you will be responsible for implementing engaging activities for our clients, promoting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in our nursing home facility.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a variety of recreational activities for residents, including games, crafts, exercise programs, and social events
- Assist clients with translation English/Korean
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Assist with organizing and coordinating special events and outings
- Maintain accurate records of client participation and progress
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients during activities
Experience:
- Fluent in Korean is required
- Previous experience in caregiving or senior care is preferred
- Knowledge of recreational therapy principles and techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with dementia care and aging issues counseling is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with seniors
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
