- Learns to identify Manufacturing process defects (scrap, nonconforming material, customer complaints) by dispositioning non-conforming material, assisting in identification of primary root causes and understanding corrective and preventative actions.
- May be responsible for working with process owner to bound product stops and document release criteria.
- Gains understanding of product quality plans, documents and systems by reviewing product specifications, quality specifications, and working with quality systems.
- May be responsible for learning risk analyses and FMEAs.

The Opportunity
This position works out of our Westfield, IN location in the Structural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
As the Manufacturing Engineer I, you will develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls; is also responsible for the activities related to installation and validation of production lines as well as the lifecycle management of equipments.
