    Overview / Job Summary:
    We are on the lookout for a skilled Manufacturing Technology Instructor to enrich our academic team. The incumbent will play a key role in delivering top-quality education in manufacturing technology, covering core courses like OSHA/Safety, Precision Measuring, and Blueprint Reading. The responsibilities include providing hands-on training and classroom instruction in areas such as CNC Operations, Production Assembly, and Manufacturing Processes and Production. Ideal candidates will possess a solid background in manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies, along with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass, but not be restricted to:

    • Conducting engaging instruction in manufacturing technology for undergraduate students, blending theoretical and practical aspects.
    • Integrating real-world scenarios and industry case studies to offer practical context and relevance to the subject matter.
    • Overseeing laboratory and workshop activities related to manufacturing technology.
    • Demonstrating the proper use of manufacturing tools, equipment, and techniques.
    • Collaborating with program administrators and fellow faculty to evolve and enhance the manufacturing technology curriculum.
    • Staying abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging technologies to ensure program alignment with industry demands.
    • Guiding and supporting students in their learning journey and professional growth, including advice on internships, projects, and career paths.
    • Keeping updated on manufacturing technology advancements through continuous professional development activities like workshops, seminars, and conferences.
    Education:
    • Associate's degree in manufacturing engineering, operations, industrial technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field. An alternative is 5 years of industry experience in a relevant field if an Associate's degree is not held.
    Preferred Experience & Skills:
    • Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies like CNC machining, robotics, automation, materials science, and quality control.
    • Relevant industry experience in manufacturing technology, preferably in a supervisory or technical capacity.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students.
    • Ability to collaborate within a team and contribute to curriculum enhancements and program development.
    • Familiarity with educational technology and instructional tools used in manufacturing technology education is beneficial.
    Additional Requirements:
    • Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
    • Previous experience in teaching or training is highly advantageous.
