We are seeking a detailed oriented and experienced HR Operations Manager to join our team.In this crucial role, the HR Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing effective operations of key HR functions, with a particular focus on our HRIS, employee benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, and ensuring compliance with benefit and employment laws and regulations.
HRIS ManagementMaintain and optimize the HRIS system to ensure accurate and efficient data management.
Develop and implement processes for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
Maintain close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Payroll).
Stay current on the latest HRIS technologies and recommend system enhancements.
Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Manage processes for the employee life cycle.
Provide counseling on policies and procedures.
General oversight over system integrations.
Ensure applications adhere to best practices, security standards, and accessibility guidelines.
Employee Benefits Management
Oversee all aspects of our employee benefit plans, including health and welfare plans, ancillary benefits, leave and time off plans and policies.
Manage enrollment processes and communicate plan changes.Manage employee benefit plan compliance and stay informed on regulatory updates affective employee benefits plans.
Onboarding and Offboarding
Enhance and maintain a streamlined and compliant onboarding process for new hires.
Manage offboarding procedures, ensuring all legal and administrative requirements are met.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities with other departments.
HR Compliance
Proactively research and stay updated on federal, state, and local employment laws.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the company remains compliant.
Conduct audits and reviews to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
Advise HR leadership and management on compliance matters.
Additional Responsibilities
Develop and maintain HR documentation, including policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Manage HR projects and initiatives.
Provide support to HR leadership and managers as needed.
Act as a point of contact for employees with HR inquiries.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR Operations or a related field.
Proven experience with HRIS management and administration.
In-depth knowledge of employee benefits administration.
Strong understanding of employment law, benefits laws and regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Superior organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS software.
Pay and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off and more Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience, ranging $110,000 - $140,000 per year.
