    CEVA Logistics Internship

    YOUR ROLE

    During your internship as a Business Development intern you will be part of the internationally oriented Business Development team at CEVA Logistics. Our office is located at TBD on the candidate's geographic location.

    It is a good opportunity for a student or post-graduate candidate to gain hands-on experience within an international corporate environment.

    WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

    You will work alongside and learn from experienced sales professionals in your field of interest. Learn from industry experts while applying what you have learned in school to real-world experience. Your key responsibilities may include Customer Service, Account Management, Sales Governance, Sales Operations, Sales Support, and/or Lead generation.

    Hands-on Sales Experience: Work closely with the sales team, gaining practical experience in sales strategies, techniques, and processes within the logistics industry.

    Customer Interaction: Participate in ride-alongs with the team. It involves accompanying a salesperson or sales team during their daily activities to observe, learn, and gain hands-on experience in the field of sales. This experience allows to see firsthand how CEVA's Business Development team interacts with clients, negotiates deals, overcomes objections, and closes sales. This immersive experience is designed to offer practical insights and enhance understanding of effective sales strategies in a real-world setting.

    Market Research and Analysis: Involvement in conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and identifying potential business opportunities to support sales efforts.

    Proposal and Contract Development: Provide assistance in the development of sales proposals, contracts, and pricing strategies tailored to meet the needs of customers and maximize revenue opportunities.

    Sales Support and Administration: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing customer databases, preparing sales reports, and coordinating sales-related activities.

    Training and Mentorship: Receive training and mentorship from seasoned sales professionals, gaining insights into best practices, customer relationship management, and professional development opportunities.

    Exposure to Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with teams across different departments, such as operations, customer service, and marketing, to support sales initiatives and ensure seamless customer experiences.

    Networking Opportunities: Network with professionals across the organization, attending meetings, events, and industry conferences to expand your professional connections and knowledge.

    Further Qualifications:
    • Freshman- Seniors not yet graduating, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
    • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or higher
    • Must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident
    WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?

    We are a company in full mutation, so you will be able to take part in innovative and challenging projects. You will have support to perform on your job by our internal teams with specific programs. Immersion within our company will therefore be complete and will allow you to grow with us.

    We are looking for an intern who can start from summer 2024 and is available for a minimum of 10-12 weeks. During the tenure this will be full time employment. You will have the possibility to work from home, but occasionally will be required to work from the office.
