    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Boring Mill Machinist is accountable for setting up, programming, and machining precision parts based on provided prints, applying industry standards and standard work instructions. This role involves using precision measuring tools to manufacture high-quality parts that meet print specifications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Machine and inspect parts according to prints
    • Drive continuous process improvement
    • Promptly escalate issues to management
    • Perform programming and set-up tasks
    • Provide assistance and training to others

    The above responsibilities encompass various sub-tasks, such as:

    • Keep the work area clean and organized
    • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery
    • Utilize measuring instruments to calculate dimensions and tolerance

    Education and Experience:

    • Prior experience in Programming, Setup, and Operation of CNC Mill, CNC Boring Mill, or CNC Lathe
    • Familiarity with machine tools and equipment
    • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
