- Supervise Production Line: Oversee the operation of the production line, ensuring that all equipment is running smoothly and production targets are being met.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production workers, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring that all team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality throughout the production process, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns or hazards promptly.
- Production Planning: Coordinate with production planning and scheduling teams to ensure efficient production scheduling and resource allocation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging materials, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure adequate supplies are available for production.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction, implementing changes and initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including production reports, quality control logs, and inventory records. Generate regular reports on production performance and efficiency metrics.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a food production environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments.
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
