Job Title: Line Supervisor

Company Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Line Supervisor to join our team and oversee our production line operations.

Position Overview: As a Line Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the production line, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Supervise Production Line: Oversee the operation of the production line, ensuring that all equipment is running smoothly and production targets are being met.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production workers, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring that all team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality throughout the production process, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns or hazards promptly.
Production Planning: Coordinate with production planning and scheduling teams to ensure efficient production scheduling and resource allocation.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging materials, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure adequate supplies are available for production.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction, implementing changes and initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including production reports, quality control logs, and inventory records. Generate regular reports on production performance and efficiency metrics.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a supervisory role in a food production environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments.
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional education or training in food science, food safety, or related field preferred.
