    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    Manages execution of the Truliant Foundation's charitable and donor relations programs to ensure alignment with the Foundation's strategic focus areas.

    Supports leadership in department level budget planning, accounting and funding.
    Supports the research and execution of Foundation charitable giving and fundraising activities insuring strategic alignment and overall quality assurance of the grant making, donor solicitation and donor stewardship process

    Manages a donor database and other program tracking mechanisms to ensure information is accurate, timely and supports ongoing relationship development with grantees, donors and other stakeholders.

    Supports and conducts research leading to action plans for new philanthropic, government affairs and donor outreach engagement opportunities, collaborating with Truliant's Community Engagement and the Marketing team as necessary.

    Responsible for the procurement and management of promotional items and event materials necessary to support Foundation activities and programs.

    Represents Truliant and the Truliant Foundation as needed in various civic, community and government affairs engagement activities to promote program initiatives and foster meaningful partnerships.

    Develops, implements and manages the operational procedures of Truliant Foundation activities and programs ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and resource allocation.

    Manages execution of marketing communication tools and resources to promote advocacy efforts, philanthropic activities and the impact of the Foundation.

    Provides guidance and support to community engagement employees to ensure outreach is aligned with the Foundation's operational protocols, standards and strategies.

    Works directly with grant seekers to provide technical assistance, guidance and feedback on procedures, proposals, awards or other issues.

    Manages the Truliant Employee Volunteer Program to foster a positive and engaged culture of community volunteerism; works with Human Resources to collect and track volunteer hours.

    Manages and supports targeted fundraising programs for the Truliant Foundation and the Truliant Political Action Committee (PAC) as well as donor stewardship strategies and programs.

    Works closely with Foundation leadership to support meetings of the Truliant Foundation Board of Trustees and other committees or working groups that support the Foundation's ok

    Under guidance from the Executive Director, assists in researching, monitoring and tracking legislation and regulatory action with may impact credit union operations and Truliant ability to serve its members.

    Other Duties and Responsibilities
    Assists with other tasks and projects as assigned.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    Must have sound understanding of standard concepts, practices, procedures, regulations and compliance within the philanthropy, fundraising, marketing and communications, as demonstrated though at least 5 years of non-profit or community foundation experience
    Must have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
    Must have superior interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible, compassionate
    Must have strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion
    Must have excellent relationship management, presentation and public speaking skills
    Must be able to work in a team environment, with strong collaborative skills
    Must be proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    Must have ability to understand all business processes within the Credit Union
    Must be detail oriented and well organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    Must be able to work in a general office environment
    Must be flexible and able to shift resources and priorities as required
    Must be able to complete all assignments with minimal supervision
    Should possess a strong commitment to providing excellent service to Truliant's members and its communities.
    Physical Requirements
    Occasional standing, walking, bending, and stooping required
    Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer
    Must be able to moderately lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds
    Occasional travel required, outside normal business hours as needed
    Education and Background
    Bachelor's degree required or 3-5 years related experience in general or business philanthropy engagement
    Experience executing corporate community engagement and philanthropic programs in multiple markets required
    A demonstrated experience developing and sharing strategic social media content required
    Previous customer relationship management experience required
    Previous foundation operation experience preferred
    Previous fundraising experience preferred
