- Travel to client sites within the allocated area to establish the GROWMARK brand and secure orders for various products and services.
- Leverage targeted marketing techniques and professional sales methods, utilizing tools like the FS sales interview roadmap, cropping programs, and effective contact management systems when engaging with clients and prospects.
- Comply with GROWMARK's sales and marketing tactics, actively participating in relevant training sessions provided by GROWMARK.
- Achieve set sales targets under the guidance of the supervisor.
- Conduct thorough territory and competitive analysis to stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
- Deliver value-added agronomic products, services, and recommendations to patrons and potential clients.
- Coordinate product delivery and application at client locations.
- Organize regular client meetings to share product and technical insights, fostering customer relationships to drive sales growth.
- Provide customer support through activities such as soil testing, crop scouting, addressing customer concerns, and seeking mutually beneficial solutions.
- Ensure customer credit evaluations, price quoting, and preparation of sales contracts for confirmed orders.
- Promote credit programs as a sales facilitator and assist in providing necessary information to establish credit for clients.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in accordance with company standards, adhere to uniform guidelines, and project a professional image.
- Display field signs on customers' fields to endorse FS products effectively.
- Update profile information sheets for key accounts and targeted prospects regularly.
- Collect payments for sales in adherence to company credit policies.
- Possess and uphold technical and sales certifications to meet prescribed standards.
- Follow GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, as well as other relevant policies and procedures.
- Complete any other duties as assigned.
- Expect daily independent travel within the designated trade area, with the possibility of occasional overnight stays.
- Typically, an Associate's Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business, or equivalent qualifications coupled with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Mandatory possession or acquisition of a seller's or solicitor's license as per legal requirements.
- Display of essential GROWMARK capabilities, including business acumen, collaboration, effective communication, customer-centric approach, decision-making skills, and continuous skill enhancement.
- Prior understanding of GROWMARK agronomy products, services, and programs is preferred.
- Ability to acquire and sustain the necessary driver's license with a satisfactory driving record suitable for operating the requisite vehicle.
- Ready and willing to gain and maintain professional certifications pertinent to the agronomy industry.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons.
- Exposure to various working conditions like extreme weather, noisy environments, and potential hazards, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
- Capability and readiness to partake in mandatory training, covering aspects such as GROWMARK policies, procedures, and other job-specific requirements.
