    Description

    Assistant Project Manager

    Job Summary:

    The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Managers with daily operations and project planning for multiple sites. The ideal candidate should have a background in construction related field.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Approve timecards and keep track of technician's hours.
    • Track man hours used on each project.
    • Equip technicians with proper tools.
    • Rent necessary equipment for each site as needed.
    • Check credit card statements.
    • Conduct site visits.
    • Assist with approving box drawings.
    • Approve Walk In Technicians expense reports.
    • Check in on and assist technicians in field.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
    • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being
    • developed.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • The ability to travel as needed.

    The following skills are helpful:

    • Electrical diagnosis
    • Electrical wiring of 120V-208V circuits
    • Conduit cutting, bending and installation.
    • PVC plumbing, cutting and installation.
    • PEX piping plumbing and installation.
    • Knowledge of multiple tools.
