The Mission

This position supports the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).

Under the I2TS 3 task order, INSCOM ensures reliable, uninterrupted availability of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) including: networks, hardware, software, engineering, and specialized tools at the point of customer need to support INSCOM's mission.

INSCOM and its MSCs provide the enabling layer to connect the Army and its tactical formations to defense and national intelligence agencies via tactical networks.

The ability to provide mission critical intelligence is dependent on the successful use of its information technology (IT) networks worldwide.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our Team immediately for a position as a

Systems Administrator Senior Advisor . This onsite position requires active TS/SCI clearance and strong knowledge of containerized infrastructure technologies and tools such as Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu), Kubernetes, K3s, Terraform, Rancher, Docker,

Python, PowerShell, Go, Bash, Gitlab, and Azure DevOps Server.

As a Systems Administrator Senior Advisor, you will:

Operate and sustain the on-going daily operational use of an infrastructure to include assessment, gap analysis, automation, updating, testing to accelerate deployment, administration, and monitoring gaining efficiencies.

Build a shared platform aggregating the tools, services, workflows, and data used by engineers and technical teams across the organization to simplify the development process and make reusable services accessible to development teams.

Work closely with client development teams and architects to design, build, and sustain a containerized application platform.
Deploy software to new platforms and maintain multiple environments from development through production.
Drive and manage improvements with an emphasis on automation, proactive monitoring across environments, and ongoing maintenance.
Support and management of server lifecycle - provisioning, maintenance, security compliance, decommissioning of hardware and daily operations
Monitor the infrastructure environment's health status, service performance, and utilization
Implement and maintain continuous compliance to information security policies and technical standards, report and remediation of non-compliances
Maintain the security baseline compliance via automation, container scanning, configuration, implementation, and remediation activities
Repair and recover from hardware or software failures and communicate with impacted constituencies.
Troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems to

containerized environment
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education
High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience

Required Skillset:
Experience with cloud deployments, automation experience and infrastructure
Design, implementation and sustainment experience in platform / infrastructure environments.

Demonstrated experience establishing, maintaining, and executing O&M processes and procedures in support of automation of traditional environments and container environments.

Strong knowledge of containerized infrastructure technologies and tools such as:
Operating

Systems/Hypervisors/Orchestration:
Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu), Kubernetes, K3s, Terraform, Rancher, Docker, OpenShift, VMware vSphere
Automation, Scripting, and Infrastructure as Code: Python, PowerShell, Go, Bash, YAML, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, REST APIs

Collaboration tools:
Gitlab, Azure DevOps Server
Excellent analytical skills to evaluate, interpret, draw inferences, and make recommendations on data.

Security Clearance Level
TS/SCI

Required Certification(s):
DoD M IAT Level III

Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract

Required Security Environment Certification:
CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent

Required Computing Environment certification:
Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) OR
Docker Certified Associate (DCA) OR
Kubernetes and Cloud-Native Associate (KCNA) OR
HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate OR
Equivalent Level Technology Certification to start

Required Computing Environment certification:
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)/Ansible Certification OR
Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert OR
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional OR
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) OR
Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) OR
Equivalent Level Technology Certification or higher within 180 days of hire date
