Job Description

1. Manage all aspects of construction projects in Queens, specializing in healthcare facilities such as hospitals, clinics, and medical offices.
2. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
3. Oversee on-site construction activities, including site logistics, quality control, safety compliance, and subcontractor coordination.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
5. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
6. Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and daily reports, to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with contractual obligations.
7. Lead and mentor on-site staff, including assistant superintendents, foremen, and laborers, to promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence.

   The Successful Applicant

   1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
   2. Proven experience as a Superintendent Construction Manager on commercial building projects.
   3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
   4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
   5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
   6. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
   7. OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent is preferred. What's on Offer
