    Description

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public relations, with a focus on travel and tourism preferred.
    • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives, press releases, and other PR materials that resonate with target audiences.
    • Proven track record of securing media coverage, building relationships with journalists, and pitching stories to the press.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, media contacts, and internal teams.
    • Creative thinker with a passion for travel and a keen understanding of industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, media monitoring tools, and social media platforms.
    • Experience with travel industry clients and knowledge of key trade publications, influencers, and industry events is a plus.

    Location and Travel: This position is based in Houston, Texas, with occasional travel required for client meetings, media events, and industry conferences.
