Description
The Biology Department at Occidental College seeks a non-tenure track instructor for Fall semester 2023 to
teach Genetic Analysis and labs (Bio 224; lectures on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 11:45 am-12:40 pm, with lab
sections on Tuesday 1:30 pm-4:25 pm and Thursday 8:30-11:25 am). For further information, please check


_QUALIFICATIONS _
**_SALARY RANGE
- **EXPECTED SALARY RANGE: $16,000 ($8,000 for a 4-unit class and $4,000 per lab)

If you are offered this position at Occidental College, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on
factors such as skills, education, experience, and/or geographic location. In addition to those factors, Occidental complies
with applicable pay equity laws and considers internal equity among current employees when developing the final offer.
Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the
range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
