    Global Director of Sourcing – Capital Projects Responsibilities

    • and implement cost-effective sourcing and contracting strategies for capital equipment and services across various contract types including EPC, EPCM, etc.
    • data-driven decisions based on benchmarking, market analysis, and spend analysis.
    • competitive landscapes and market trends impacting capital projects.
    • seek cost optimization while maintaining quality and performance.
    • with peers to align sourcing strategies with project execution plans.
    • and evaluate potential vendors, ensuring they meet project requirements.
    • and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring compliance and driving improvement.
    • vendor negotiations to secure favorable terms and manage contracts.
    • the capital sourcing budget and mitigate risks, ensuring legal compliance.
    • and mentor a team of 7+ global members, fostering growth and achieving departmental goals.

    Global Director of Sourcing – Capital Projects Qualifications

    • undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering or related field of study. MBA preferred in business, finance, engineering or a related field of study.
    • plus years of global sourcing or relevant business (engineering, operations, finance, general management) with progressive responsibilities
    • of a global functional organization
    • creating and implementing strategies at a comprehensive and global level within a corporate environment for capital sourcing.
    • to travel 20 – 30%
    • management that drives impact, strong results and leads change.
    • with EPC and Design/Build capital contracting strategies.
    • relationship building, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
    • record of identifying and implementing cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives / projects across capital equipment & service
