    This position is accountable for the management of assigned projects including the installation, performance, and customer satisfaction of these projects.

    This position performs work within an established time frame and ensures that this work is done in conformance with quality work standards, project man-hours, within established company guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements of Christian Community Health Center (CCHC)

    The Project Director of Gun Violence Prevention and Reduction is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, compliance and programmatic activities.

    This includes establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for the organization, in addition to internal and external relationships.

    The Senior Director works closely with a variety of stakeholders, organizing the activities of Population Health across the enterprise.

    The Project Director of Gun Violence Prevention and Reduction serves as the programmatic and operational leader and works closely with all CCHC departments.


    Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
    Program Implementation
    Monitor and manage program implementation for assigned community and be the primary contact for JAC programming. Utilize a trauma informed approach and trauma informed practices to support youth in group and individual settings.


    This includes:
    Developing and maintaining a directory of community services for referral purposes
    Developing and maintaining community-based partnerships
    Managing site-based program evaluation and assessment
    Developing and implementing quality improvement measure to included workflows
    Collaborate with consultants to implement prevention curriculum
    Team Leadership and Management

    Identifies, manages and motivates a high-performing team that accomplishes program objectives.


    This includes:
    Establishing, monitoring and evaluating program goals and performance standards.
    Uses data to assess performance of program and modify service provisions as needed to achieve the best possible outcomes for grant scopes
    Recruit and support site-based volunteers
    JAC Operations

    Act as a public face of the program for media, meetings and events in the community
    Maintain regular communications with the Managing Director regarding funding opportunities, obstacles to contract deliverables, status of community coalitions, and other programmatic needs
    Ensure documentation of program information into appropriate data tracking system (Clinify, Power Bi, etc)
    Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports per contract or as requested by supervisor/grantor
    Ensure tracking and monthly reporting of all in-kind match contributions including personnel, goods, and services
    Assist in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures which strengthen the JAC program
    Supports the mission and vision of CCHC as assigned.

    Provides direct service to youth, acting as a mentor/case manager to a set caseload of youth.


    This includes:
    Identify and recruit youth with a trauma history to participate in JAC programming; practice relentless outreach to ensure continued participation
    Establish positive and constructive relationships and serve as a positive role model with JAC participants.
    Act as a general advocate for individual youth as it pertains the legal system and related subsidiaries
    Co-Facilitate peace circles/restorative justice and support staff in leading curriculum-guided group sessions

    A successful Project Director will demonstrate that they possess excellent vision, strategy, management and leadership skills, as well as advanced abilities related to program design, operations, communications, and partnerships, and the capacity to build and use a data- and outcome a framework to define and evaluate the impact and system change.


    Required skills and qualifications include:
    Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Public Policy, Criminal Justice, Public Health, or a related field.
    Organization and leadership skills
    Ability to support a high-performance team including identifying, selecting, onboarding, developing and evaluating team members.
    Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the impact of trauma on youth including trauma-informed practices and programming.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Demonstrated knowledge of community-based violence intervention programs
    3 years of experience in a leadership role managing contracted program operations including case management and programming
    3 years of Violence Prevention experience preferred
